I’m hosting a Movie Night to help all Victorian women affected by cancer
Every year 15,700 Victorian women are diagnosed cancer, & 6,000 of those will be breast or gynaecological cancers. It could be a relative, a close friend, a coworker or just someone that you've smiled at on the street.
The point is that one way or another it effects everybody.
The good news is that the rate of women dying from cancer is declining. Throughout the last decade, the rate has been consistently decreasing by 1.5% per year.
This is thanks to earlier detection of cancers through screening, reductions in tobacco use, & improvements in treatment.
I'll be helping Cancer Council Victoria by hosting a Movie Night!! Because there's nothing better than being able to switch off from the daily, eat some good food and relax with quality cinema. All the while helping raise vital funds for cancer research and treatment.
* The good news is that if you're unable to make it you can still donate via this page! *
By supporting me, you’ll be funding ground-breaking cancer research, prevention programs & support services that offer a helping hand to all Victorian women affected by cancer. Every little bit helps. 💪❤
